...yeah I remember that day, I remember the other day too when stuff happened...

Called him last night and we went right back to Page 1.
What is it with me?
What is it with him?
What is it with me and him?
What is going on with all the hard work?
We are both working real hard on this. Whatever happened to reward after hard work?
Oh my gosh! – Page 1 – back to where we started!

I remember that day – the very first time we spoke.
Saw – called – spoke – love (the kind you never saw before). Asked him yesterday why he called me ‘that day’ and his answer? “Why did you have to be you? “ What do you say to a guy that says that to you? Yeah … I remember that day. There was just something special about Azad - the way he talked, the way he smiled, the things he said, the thoughts in his head ( yeah cos I just kinda knew these). He was - is just so cool.

Although I wanna go to another book entirely, another series, another genre, I know I will always be on Page 1 in this book. ‘No harm in working on it’ I had said to myself.

Yeah, I remember that day, I remember that other day too when stuff happened. The spontaneity, the sharing, the knowing exactly what to do and how to, the being totally in sync. Oh my gosh! je me souviens. It happened so from nowhere and it felt so good. Then it happened again and again and again. It quickly became; the food, the air we breathe, our thoughts, us. It felt so good, all the time and every time. How could you blame the obsession?

We decided to go to different books. It was in our best interest to. (This is another entry… and I promise to tell you all about it). And, the journey began to different books. The calls, the visits, etc, needed to stop or pause. On our separate ways on this journey, there would be the one-off call, and it would be like we never began this journey. Everything would happen!

One call -
“Hi baby!”
“Heeeyyy…wats up ?” I say smiling. Knowing exactly where this was going.
“How have you been? I miss you”
“I miss you too … you have no idea” I say - smile fades into a gaze … I am starring …
“Yes I do…I have a pretty good idea cos I miss you just as much. Its Hayden’s at the weekend. I really would like that you come with me. Okay, if you busy I understand…besides I only ….”
“Babes …shushhhh…..I would love to come”
…’nd then we go right back to Page 1 and stay there for a while.

This is usually the pattern. One call from either of us and we are back right where we left off and instead of working away from Page 1, we work right back. But who can blame us. Page 1 is such an awesome place to be. My gosh!
You should be on a Page 1. Everybody should be on Page 1 with that special person. You know, no matter what, I am always gonna be on page 1 with Azad. Always. We need to.

It's bitter-sweet because going back to "Page 1" can be so lovely and yet so painful at the same time. I have been there before. Just be sure to not let him prevent you from growing, maturing and chasing your dreams. If you avoid that then this kind of situation can be theraputic and actually good for you...you will learn alot about yourself , men, relationships and the world. Do you love him? I'm so nosey...hehe. Be sure to post about "books", the other entry. -MonaFierce

Page 1 sounds like the place to be, but what would happen to the guy in subsequent pages. Page 1 is good if you decide thats the place to be...and maybe the only place while it still makes good reading!

Anyone can stay on page 1, or they can read or flip through the pages. They'll get to the last page in no time at all, read the final words and drop the book to go on to other things. Maybe read page 1 of another book, or refuse to read anything further. Lots of growing up to do while we still draw breath.

Now, what are we talking about? Some like beginning and they treasure beginnings. In their minds, they often re-live the blissful beginnings. But life is not static and we must progress and learn even if the lessons are painful. That's how we grow.:)

Lol...thanks for your comment.

Some 'page 1's cannot be left behind or forgotten, hard as we try. :)

I like the book you reading right now and especially the page you are on! Love that book!
